Execrable - 16

Execerable has been on hiatus for a while, and the sneaky Executive has lost no time discussing important things, namely, the upheaval of the constitutional structure.
On the June 29, the Exec moved a motion to tell NZUSA “we are unhappy with you.” Nothing yet on how NZUSA replied, but one can safely assume that OUSA is off their Christmas card list.
Numbers were low on the July 5, with a tiny show of only ten members. This didn’t stop the Executive from moving (and passing) to accept the proposal for the new structure, and to move that a referendum take place to vote on the proposal.
A brief emergency meeting was called on July 7, at which some members expressed concern over the new positions in the constitutional structure.
Critic was however pleased with the provision of light snacks at the meeting last week, even if we did have to settle for a blue shark lolly. Steph had sent around a scare-mongering email warning Execcies that the meeting would be long. As a result, there were many apologies for leaving early, and a few fearful Execcies bypassed the meeting altogether.
Art turned up late and could barely contain his excitement for the whole of the discussion on the Golds policy, which outlines the new procedure on how a Golds recipient is to be selected. It eventuated that Art’s animated squeals were due to the policy being the first he had written. Some discussion of the “name on trophy” debacle took place: apparently the University was “T’Oed” (we don't know what it means, either) about the name change to “OUSA Blues and Golds.” Negotiations are underway.
Ultimately, the meeting wound up in record time, causing some Execcies to excitedly discuss the impressive ‘agenda size to meeting length ratio’. Amen.
