The Labour Party has announced an election policy forgiving up to 10% of student loans for graduates who stay in New Zealand and don't get fees free. 

Otago Students Geological Society is hosting a photo competition across three categories: Earth Processes in the Wild, Microscale Geology and Geology Behind the Scenes. Submissions close on the 23rd of October – check out @otago_rocks on Instagram for more info. 

The OUSSC AGM is being held on the 8th of October at 6PM at the Alhambra-Union Rugby Club.

The Muslim Students’ Association Exec nominations close on the 10th of October, 12pm. Apply via the link in the @otago.musa Instagram account. No experience required, just genuine care for the community.
