The University of Otago has confirmed that it will not ban relationships between staff and students.
The University’s review of its policy on relationships between staff and students has been completed, and the University Senate will now discuss a revised policy, which mandates that staff disclose such relationships, and governs how they will be managed.
The University did not respond to Critic’s request for comment on the revised policy and the reasons behind it.
