Afrotago has found itself without a leader. Kelechi Chinaemerem Osunwa, the previous President of Afrotago, has tendered his resignation from the club, citing lack of member support and a failure to achieve objectives.
He also felt that poor support from the general committee has played a role in demoralising the Exec. By offering his resignation, Osunwa leaves a major hole in the structure of the club, and Vice President David Nkya will be the Acting President until a general meeting takes place and a pPresident is elected. There is speculation that Afrotago will not survive Osunwa’s resignation, and may disband and reform under a different name.
